New to the Vacheron Constantin “Overseas” collection, this watch pays tribute to one of the most renowned complications in watchmaking: the tourbillon, which combats the force of gravity and improves the precision of time reading. Housed in a 42.5mm stainless steel case, the model’s automatic caliber 2160 boasts a long 80-hour power reserve and a fascinating 60-second mechanism in the brand’s iconic Maltese carriage. Ressence Type 3X Limited Edition

Inside the grade 5 titanium case are two chambers separating the movement and the gears, with a magnetic transmission connector between. The top half is filled with precisely 35.7ml of oil to create the illusion of floating hands and indicators, while ensuring readability from every possible angle. Each day at midnight, the date ring, made up of 280 colored lines, changes from blue to orange – one line is always inverted to indicate the day of the month. Instead of a traditional crown, the redesigned caseback can be used to adjust the time, keeping the overall profile of this minimal and unique piece. The olive green hue of the Barenia leather strap is the common thread that connects each model in the limited edition collection.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – the tobacco brown leather strap is inspired by his flight suit, while as the tone-on-tone dial is initial engraved.
