Vacheron Constantin Overseas Ultra-Thin Perpetual Calendar

Crafted in rose gold and fitted with a stunning blue dial, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin is an epic piece that combines beauty and mechanical mastery. It is a brilliant piece, truly accentuating the watchmaking capabilities of his house. I really like the information rich dial, but I can see how some may find it too busy.

IWC Big Pilot’s Perpetual Calendar Rodeo Drive

Featuring a 46mm wide ceramic case, the IWC Big Pilot’s Perpetual Calendar Rodeo Drive is definitely not a room for the faint-hearted. He commands a big wrist and an even bigger personality. I personally love this piece. It’s the perfect balance between too much and just enough

The layout of the perpetual calendar indicators is very readable, I really like the sporty-cross-stealth look of the ceramic case and this deep blue dial is just amazing.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual

Jaeger-LeCoultre is the king of understated luxury, and the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual is another example. This particular model is crafted in rose gold and features a beautifully creamy dial.

Here are some of the best military watches 2021

Just like the IWC Big Pilot perpetual calendar Rodeo Drive, the dial of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual is super readable and easy to read. Separating all of the functions was a great idea, and I like that the moon phase indicator wasn’t just an afterthought.

IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm

This new generation of Portugieser perpetual calendars is now available in a 42mm wide case. Dropping a few millimeters might not seem like a lot, but in the world of watches, it’s a huge difference. I quite like the new look of the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm. There is a lot of empty real estate around the IWC badge allowing for a very clean dial.

I think readability is a penchant for IWC perpetual calendars, the Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm proving it yet again.

Perpetual Calendar IWC Portugieser Boutique Edition

This particular model, named IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar Boutique Edition, reverts to the original size of 44.20mm of other Portugieser Perpetual Calendar models. Called Boutique Edition, this limited edition model has a superb midnight blue dial and a magnificent 18-carat gold case.

I love the combination of the cool look of the blue dial and the warmth of the gold case – it’s an aesthetic that’s as timeless as it is relevant and beautiful. Would definitely be a cop!

IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm

Finally, another variant of the IWC Portugieser 42mm perpetual calendar is made of stainless steel and features a silver dial with gold hands, numbers and indexes. This seems to be the dressier version of the two IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm models on this list and I really like the cleanliness of the room.

The white dial of the almost sterile-looking steel case gives the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42mm the ability to be dressed as formally and casually as you like. Functional and beautiful!
