You can check out the versions from the previous week here:
Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Heritage “Michel Parmigiani 70th Anniversary”
To celebrate the 70 years of its founder Michel Parmigiani, Parmigiani Fleurier released a new Toric Heritage model, nicknamed the Toric Heritage “Michel Parmigiani 70th Anniversary” in a limited series of just 70 pieces. The piece is made of stainless steel and features a fluted bezel, a blue guilloché dial with a barley-corn “Grain d’Orge” motif, and javelin-shaped skeleton hands. There is an arched window at 6 o’clock representing the passing date, which I think matches the aesthetics of the watch very well, as opposed to the blocky look of a typical square-shaped date window. . Powering the Toric Heritage “Michel Parmigiani 70th Anniversary” is the self-made caliber PF441 of in-house manufacture. It is a COSC-certified movement with a 22-carat solid gold guilloché rotor and a 55-hour power reserve on its two barrels. The Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Heritage “Michel Parmigiani 70th Anniversary” is priced at € 17,700.
Blancpain Villeret Extraplate Boutique Edition
New from Blancpain is the Villeret Extraplate Boutique Edition, featuring a yellow gold case associated with a distinct green dial. The yellow gold treatment extends to the applied Roman numerals as well as the leaf-shaped skeleton hands. The green hue of the dial sparkles and sparkles, changing shades depending on the light it is exposed to. The Blancpain Villeret Extraplate Boutique Edition is powered by the Manufacture’s 1151 caliber, highlighted by its gold rotor engraved with a honeycomb pattern. The Blancpain Villeret Extraplate Boutique Edition will be priced at around 18,000 USD.
Urwerk EMC Time Hunter Stormtrooper
Urwerk EMC Time Hunter is back and this time it packs a whole new punch. Now dressed in a stainless steel and titanium case covered in white lacquered ceramic, the EMC Time Hunter Stormtrooper looks exactly like the distinct white armor that the Stormtroopers wore from Star Wars. At its core though, the EMC Time Hunter Stormtrooper is like its other variations, with the caliber UR-EMC2 hand-wound movement with a whole bunch of intricacies and goodies sure to appease the watch nerd in us all. The Urwerk EMC Time Hunter Stormtrooper is limited to just 5 pieces and priced at 115,000 CHF.
Ressence Type 3X
Last but not least is the Resence Type 3X. This is the third coin of the 10th anniversary of the Ressence X collection. Limited to just 40 pieces and created in collaboration with renowned graphic designer known for working with the Rolling Stones, Stefan Sagmeister, Ressence Type 3X’s design approach revolves around the “Now is Better” ideology. This philosophical approach focuses on overall development with a long-term perspective that is reflected in the minute ring. The Type 3X also features a new date mechanism, which reminds the wearer to look at the world not one day at a time, but from a more holistic perspective. Whichever way you look at it, the Ressence Type 3X is an intriguing watch from one of the most creative and pioneering watchmakers in modern watchmaking. The Ressence Type 3X is priced at € 42,000.
