Rado Captain Cook Bronze Bordeaux

Now featuring a beautiful burgundy dial with matching bezel and bracelet, the Rado Captain Cook Bronze Burgundy has just been given a new lease of life. This model is the most striking of the three current models. It’s a fresh, dramatic, and utterly funky look that has a lot of appeal – at least to me. I love the contrast between deep burgundy and bronze, accentuated by the same colored hands and indexes. The Rado Captain Cook Bronze Burgundy is priced at 2600CHF.

Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Camouflage White

New from Bell and Ross is BR 03-92 White Camo. With an aesthetic quite representative of its model name, the BR 03-92 White Camo indeed presents a white-camo aesthetic on its dial and bracelet. The iconic square-shaped case inspired by Bell & Ross instruments extends the military theme of the BR 03-92 White Camo. Although available on the camo colored leather strap, the BR 03-92 White Camo is also available on a black rubber strap. The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 White Camo is available in a limited series of just 999 pieces and will be priced at € 3,500.

Richard Mille RM 71-02 Tourbillon Talisman Collection

Inspired by the disco era of the 1970s, the Richard Mille The RM 71-02 Tourbillon Talisman Collection comprises 10 distinct models, each produced in a limited series of just 7 pieces. Cécile Guenat, Creative and Development Director at Richard Mille, comments: “The intense glamor of the disco era lay in a multiplication of colors and textures. I had to find a way to make this idea tangible. Working with the stones themselves proved to be a huge challenge. Because stones of very similar hues can end up looking completely different depending on their size and type of setting. “

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer Birthday Gold Limited Edition

To celebrate Jack Heuer’s 88th birthday, TAG Heuer released a stunning 18k rose gold version of its Carrera Chronograph. Inspired by the Carrera 1158CHN in solid gold, the Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer Birthday Gold Limited Edition features a horizontally oriented double register dial, a silky white dial offset by the black registers of the sub-dial and complemented by rose gold indexes and hands . The case itself is in rose gold, further accentuating the exclusive look and feel of the piece. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer Birthday Gold Limited Edition will be produced in a limited series of just 188 pieces and will be priced at AUD 26,700.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Openwork Ceramic Balance Wheel

As good as all these versions are, Audemars Piguet the newest and biggest definitely jumps on them as the best release of the week. Introducing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked Ceramic, a wonderful edition of one of the finest openwork hour-only watches in the world. Initially available only in steel and rose gold, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak openwork double balance wheel quickly rose to the top of many collectors’ wishlists. Fast forward to 2020 and the hype has all but died out. So it’s no surprise to everyone that Audemars Piguet has decided to coat one of its most demanded watches in one of its most sought-after materials, black ceramic. This is a magical timepiece, easily exceeding expectations as one of the house’s best releases of 2020. I love the balance of the dark of the ceramic case with the gold of the double balances and silver and gray openwork dial. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak with double openwork ceramic balance wheel is not your conventional, ordinary, ceramic coated Royal Oak. It’s a beautiful, harmonious packaging, as majestic as it is exciting. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel openwork ceramic will be priced at 72,100CHF. I know what I want for Christmas.
